SHT administration

Ohio Townships have only those powers conferred upon them by the State Constitution and state statutes. Sagamore Hills Township, as well as other townships in the state, is governed by a 3-member Board of Trustees, elected
at-large in odd-numbered years, for 4-year overlapping terms. They serve as both the legislative and executive body of the township.

In addition to the Board of Trustees, a Township Fiscal Officer is elected to a 4-year term. The Fiscal Officer is the chief fiscal officer of the township. In addition to financial obligations, the Fiscal Officer also maintains the Record of Proceedings of the Board of Trustees at all of its meetings as well as other township records.

Administrative personnel of Sagamore Hills Township includes, one Administrative Assistant, Zoning Inspector/Administrator, Service Director, Police Chief, Fire Chief, and support staff.

Township Meetings

• Trustee Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM unless k noted.
• The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 13 at 7:00 PM.
• Zoning Committee Meetings are held monthly on the fourth Monday at 7:30 PM.
• All meetings are held in the Safety Center at 11551 Valley View Road.

	Meeting Room Rental
	The meeting room is located in the township Safety Center and is available to township residents to rent for meetings, parties, family gatherings, etc. It is air conditioned, but has no kitchen facility. Click here to see the Meeting Room Rules and Regulations.

• • • •	Maximum capacity is 60 persons Theatre style seating is available Banquet style seating is available using the 7 rectangular tables and chairs The individual or group renting the meeting room will be responsible for clean up, cleaning supplies and/or equipment is not provided.
	Rental Rates
• • •	$25.00 for a meeting - no food to be served $100.00 for a party - food served - there is a $40.00 refundable deposit included in the $100.00 fee, provided the room is left in good order Reservation Form and Fees to be completed and paid in advance
